Cancellation policy
Leave whenever you need to. We make the exit as clean as the onboarding.
How to cancel
Send written notice to your account lead or to hello@maclan.co.za. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period. We confirm receipt within one working day.
Notice period
In the first 12 months of the agreement the notice period is 30 days. After 12 months it is 60 days. The subscription remains active and fully guaranteed until the last day.
No exit fee
There is no charge for leaving. We do not lock you in with setup fees or termination penalties.
Data export
Within 10 working days of your last active month we provide a complete export of your employee records, payroll data, contracts, policies and compliance registers in standard formats.
Handover
For two months after cancellation we answer questions from you or your incoming provider at no charge. We also attend up to two handover meetings to transfer context cleanly.
If we terminate
We may terminate with the same notice period if fees are unpaid for more than 14 days after a written reminder, or for a material breach of the agreement that is not remedied within 14 days of notice.
Partial months
Fees are not refunded for a partial month except under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee or where service credits apply. The final invoice is prorated only if we terminate for convenience, which we do not do.
